Here is how it works -

Meteorologist John Zeigler will give the forecast of the high temperature for the day during the KOLR10 morning news, Monday through Friday.  If John's forecast is correct within three degrees of the National Weather Service’s recorded high for Springfield, Missouri for that day a randomly selected winner.

Daily prize winners if John is right get a $20 gift certificate to Hyvee. If John is wrong one winner will be chosen at random to win a $200 gift certificate from Hyvee for groceries.

HOW WINNERS ARE SELECTED AND ANNOUNCED -

Viewers must register here to be eligible to win.  Viewers only have to register once. Winners will be chosen at random using a computer software program.   Winners will be announced Monday through Friday in the morning newscast on KOLR10.  The announcement in the morning newscast is the ONLY WAY WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED.

HOW TO GET THE PRIZE -

Winners must claim their prize within 30 days in person at the KOLR10 studios at 2650 East Division, Springfield, Missouri, during regular business hours, 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.  Claimants must present a valid ID to prove age requirement (Read ELIGIBILITY/ENTRY requirements) and will be required to fill out appropriate forms for tax documentation and liability releases.
